About the funder
The Neue-Wege-Stiftung is a state-recognized charitable foundation based in Essen (NRW). It supports diaconal projects and programs both domestically and internationally in the key areas of child and youth welfare, education and upbringing, development aid, and humanitarian emergency relief, as well as the worldwide promotion of the Christian religion. In addition to concrete aid projects, the foundation also supports the training and further education of professionals and volunteers. All staff in Germany work on a voluntary basis, ensuring that donations flow directly into the projects without any deductions for administrative costs.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to enrich lives with meaning through a relationship with God and consideration for others. The Neue-Wege Foundation seeks to respond to social, spiritual, and cultural challenges with innovative solutions ("breaking new ground") while remaining open to criticism, suggestions, and unique forms of diaconal engagement.
Target groups
The foundation targets non-profit initiatives, institutions, and professionals implementing diaconal programs and projects in the fields of child and youth welfare, education and upbringing, development aid/humanitarian emergency relief, and Christian religious promotion. Funding is particularly provided for model projects that address new challenges in Germany, as well as intercultural and humanitarian measures abroad.
