Peter Klöckner-Stiftung
About the funder
The Peter Klöckner Foundation was established in 1983 as an independent charitable foundation under private law, based in Duisburg, by the Peter Klöckner Family Foundation. It follows the tradition of the company founder Peter Klöckner and the Henle donor family, primarily supporting projects in the fields of science, education and upbringing, international understanding, as well as art and culture. To date, charitable initiatives totaling approximately €16 million have been supported. The foundation independently designs its funding program, generally does not accept external applications, and allocates funds exclusively to tax-privileged corporations, institutions, and foundations. It is authorized to accept endowments and is a member of the Association of German Foundations.
