About the funder
The Professor Klaus Riedle Foundation supports teaching and research at the Faculty of Engineering of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) as well as at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) in the field of power generation. It was initiated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. Klaus Riedle and has established a cooperation agreement between FAU and MPEI since 2006 to promote the exchange of students and young researchers.

Mission & Vision
The Professor Klaus Riedle Foundation aims to promote innovative approaches to power generation through targeted support of teaching and research projects at the Technical Faculty of FAU and at MPEI, to strengthen international scientific cooperation, and to foster the exchange of young researchers.
Target groups
Funding is provided to students as well as early-career researchers of the Faculty of Engineering at FAU and the Moscow Power Engineering Institute who work on research and teaching projects in the field of power generation and energy supply.
