PwC-Stiftung im Stifterverband

Private foundation

About the funder

The PwC Foundation within the Stifterverband for German Science e.V. was established in 2003 by PwC GmbH WPG as a legally capable trust foundation within the Stifterverband. It supports nationwide projects in aesthetic cultural education (performing and visual arts, music, literature, new media) as well as value-oriented economic education for children and adolescents. The goal is to provide young people, regardless of their background, with orientation knowledge and system understanding, to strengthen their creativity and empathy, and to enable them to act independently and responsibly in society. Operationally, the foundation works with participatory formats and the method of inquiry-based learning in its own programs Wirtschafts.Forscher!, Hör.Forscher!, and Kultur.Forscher!. Digital-analog laboratories ("Impact Space") expand the teaching and learning offerings.
