About the funder

The Schwester Euthymia Foundation was established in March 2013 and operates a Catholic hospital network comprising four hospitals in Lower Saxony (St. Josefs-Hospital Cloppenburg, Krankenhaus St. Elisabeth Damme, St. Franziskus-Hospital Lohne, and St. Marienhospital Vechta). With a total of 950 beds and approximately 3,500 employees, it provides care to over 48,000 inpatient and 175,000 outpatient patients annually. As academic teaching hospitals of the Hannover Medical School and the University Medical Center Neumarkt at the Hamburg campus, the facilities ensure high medical standards and comprehensive educational quality. The goal is cooperative, interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize outpatient and inpatient care.
