Mission & Vision

Our goal is to make a significant contribution to the climate neutrality of Vienna’s existing urban fabric through technical innovations and sustainable building and energy renovations. We create the framework conditions so that property owners, developers, and residents can jointly design future-proof, energy-efficient, and socially inclusive neighborhoods, enabling the City of Vienna to achieve its climate targets.

Target groups

MA 25 targets natural and legal persons connected to the WieNeu+ program areas (currently Grätzl 20 + 2, Hernals from 2024). This includes building and apartment owners, developers, project and property developers, tenants, local associations, initiatives, and companies that implement innovative technical or social solutions for climate- and future-proof urban spaces and wish to develop the neighborhood together with neighbors and professional stakeholders.
