Mission & Vision
"We are here for the Cathedral because the Cathedral is here for us." Our mission is to preserve the historic Brandenburg Cathedral as the heart of spiritual and cultural life for both city and countryside, to honor its history, and to nurture it as a living place of faith, art, and community. Through targeted funding projects, public relations, and the involvement of supporters and interested parties, we ensure that the Cathedral is preserved for future generations.
Target groups
The foundation targets potential sponsors, donors, and patrons, individuals interested in culture and monument preservation, citizens of the Brandenburg an der Havel region, church congregations and ecclesiastical institutions, as well as professionals in restoration, monument preservation, and art history. These target groups are engaged through fundraising appeals, events, and publications to jointly support the preservation and cultural revitalization of the cathedral.
