Stiftung Bürgerverein Wolfenbüttel

The Stiftung Bürgerverein Wolfenbüttel was established in 2008 on the initiative of the Bürgerverein Wolfenbüttel. The Bürgerverein itself has a long tradition and was founded in the 19th century with the aim of promoting and fostering community spirit and interest in municipal affairs among the citizens of the city of Wolfenbüttel and its surrounding area. The foundation exclusively pursues charitable and benevolent purposes in the Wolfenbüttel region. It supports a wide range of projects in the fields of education, upbringing, science, youth and elderly care, culture, art, monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, traditional customs, local heritage, sports and public health care, as well as international understanding and democratic governance.
