About the funder

Since 1991, the Stiftung Entwicklungs-Zusammenarbeit Baden-Württemberg (SEZ) has been promoting globally responsible action. Through educational programs, exchange formats, and project funding, it raises awareness in Baden-Württemberg of how local engagement influences global contexts. By networking and providing funds from state funding and donations, SEZ supports private, municipal, and regional initiatives in partnership projects, including in Burundi, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Mission & Vision

The SEZ is committed to shaping a more just world by promoting encounter, education, and partnership-based cooperation. Target groups

The funding programs of SEZ are aimed at private, municipal, and regional initiatives in Baden-Württemberg as well as their partners in the Global South. A special focus is placed on projects by young people, migrant, and diasporic actors who seek to contribute to sustainable development and global justice through development policy education and partnership projects.
