The Stiftung GLAUBEN LEBEN in the Diocese of Trier is a legally independent ecclesiastical foundation under civil law, established in January 2008 by the Diocese of Trier. The office is located in the Center for Foundations, Fundraising, and Sponsorship at the Episcopal Vicariate General in Trier. The umbrella foundation supports and accompanies projects in the fields of education and upbringing (daycare centers, schools, universities of applied sciences), family and adult education, as well as youth work, cultural initiatives, and pastoral projects throughout the Diocese of Trier.

Mission & Vision
The GLAUBEN LEBEN Foundation is committed to securing faith and the future of church services in the Diocese of Trier through sustainable foundation work. It promotes innovative educational, cultural, and pastoral projects, strengthens volunteer engagement, and supports donors in the establishment and management of trust foundations.
Target groups
The funding activities are directed at parishes, deaneries, associations, religious communities, and other Catholic institutions within the Diocese of Trier. Additionally, the umbrella foundation advises potential donors who wish to establish their own trust foundation for ecclesiastical-charitable purposes or manage existing foundation funds and endowments. Priority is given to projects in youth ministry, faith communication, educational work, as well as cultural and pastoral initiatives with an innovative character.
