About the funder

The Stiftung Glyptothek Etsdorf Oberpfalz is a non-profit foundation established in 2008 by the Association of Friends of the Glyptothek Etsdorf, pillar sponsors, and Wilhelm Koch, and was officially recognized by the Government of Upper Palatinate on July 7, 2008. Its foundation purpose is the construction, maintenance, care, and organization of the Glyptothek Etsdorf – a citizen-initiated European temple and exhibition venue for democratic dialogue and the European idea.
