Stiftung Helfen und Fördern vor Ort
About the funder
In 2008, Bernhard Stammler founded the "Helfen und Fördern vor Ort" Foundation as a non-profit, legally recognized foundation under civil law. Its aim is the financial and ideological support of volunteer-driven social projects in the region. The focus areas include work with children and youth, support for talented and needy young people, assistance for disabled, ill, and elderly individuals, as well as the integration of foreign youths. Between 2008 and 2024, over €150,000 has already been disbursed to local initiatives such as the Heidelberg Food Bank, the association "Women Helping Women," the Franco-German Cultural Circle, and other charitable projects. The selection of projects is carried out by the foundation’s board together with an advisory council.
