Mission & Vision

Our mission is to specifically support Hamburg-based social entrepreneurship startups and thereby strengthen the innovative capacity of the location. We create incentives for sustainable, socially impactful founding projects, accompany founding teams with individual consulting, pitch training, and access to one of Hamburg’s largest startup networks. In doing so, we contribute to the implementation of the social entrepreneurship strategy of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and to the achievement of global sustainability goals.

Target groups

The InnoImpact funding program is aimed at founders and founding teams of innovative, socially-oriented startups from all sectors that are in the pre-foundation or foundation phase. Eligible are natural persons or legally capable partnerships (e.g., GbR) with a maximum existence of one year, legal entities (e.g., (g)GmbH, e.V.) generally with up to two years of existence, fewer than ten full-time equivalents, and an annual turnover or balance sheet total below €2 million. The projects must predominantly take place in Hamburg, make a clear contribution to social or ecological goals, and be managed transparently according to social impact criteria.
