Mission & Vision
The Thuringian Volunteer Foundation aims to promote and recognize voluntary commitment in the long term and to improve the framework conditions for voluntary action. It seeks to provide volunteers, associations, and non-profit organizations with quick and unbureaucratic assistance, to network them, and to equip them with resources so that they can effectively implement their ideas. In doing so, it understands its work as "development policy" within its own federal state.
Target groups
Volunteers, non-profit associations, federations, initiatives, and project groups in Thuringia—especially in rural areas—are supported and addressed. Schools, volunteer agencies, as well as organizations working in refugee and immigration services, also belong to the target groups. The foundation is aimed at all those who are committed to the common good and require financial, organizational, or qualifying support for their activities.
