About the funder

The Ursuline Foundation is a trust foundation under the sponsorship of the Bischof-Arbeo Foundation for church schools and educational institutions in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. It was established on November 10, 2016, by the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The purpose of the foundation is to preserve the rich heritage of Ursuline education and personal development for future generations with the support of private donors, and to impart life skills and a sense of social responsibility to young girls and women beyond their school education. Sisters of the Ursuline Order actively participate in the advisory board and shape the foundation’s educational philosophy.
