About the funder
The VR Bank Rosenheim-Chiemsee Foundation was established in 2009 by meine Volksbank Raiffeisenbank eG and supports charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes within the bank's business area. Driven by the motto "When everyone shares, no one is left behind," it encourages people to participate through donations or endowments. The goal is to strengthen community spirit and shared responsibility in order to address social challenges and positively develop the Rosenheim-Chiemsee region. Since its founding, regional projects have been supported with a total of €474,670.49 up to 2023.

The VR Bank Rosenheim-Chiemsee Foundation is committed to promoting the community and voluntary engagement in and around Rosenheim. We believe in the power of sharing and aim to motivate people in the business area to actively participate in charitable projects so that our region develops sustainably and positively.
Target groups
Individuals, associations, and non-profit organizations with projects in the business area of the VR Bank Rosenheim-Chiemsee Foundation (city and district of Rosenheim as well as adjacent districts) are supported. The prerequisite is that the initiatives serve the common good, for example in areas such as education, culture, sports, environment, social affairs, or disaster relief.
