The Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen (WIBank) is the central development bank of the state of Hesse and part of Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba). It supports private individuals, start-ups, companies, municipalities, institutions, and distribution partners with low-interest loans, guarantees, and grants in the areas of housing construction, infrastructure, economic development, innovation, employment promotion, as well as agriculture and rural development. As a competition-neutral financing partner, WIBank administers numerous structural, social, and funding programs on behalf of the state, federal government, and EU, contributing to the sustainable development of Hesse through its offerings.
