About the funder
The Federal Ministry of Education (BMB) is the highest federal authority for the Austrian education system. It creates the framework conditions for all educational levels – from early childhood education through general and vocational schools up to the Matura – and is also responsible for teacher training colleges, educational research, school quality development, school law, as well as personnel matters concerning teaching and administrative staff. The BMB offers extensive service facilities and funding programs to support students, teachers, educators, and institutions in the education sector.
