- Eligible total expenditures of at least 50,000 euros per project
- Fulfillment of specific requirements of the respective measure
Description
The funding guideline ESF-RL-Alpha supports educational institutions in Saxony-Anhalt in measures for adult literacy and basic education. With funds from the European Social Fund Plus, projects are promoted that strengthen the reading, writing, and basic education skills of people with limited abilities. The goal is to increase social participation as well as improve professional prospects. Eligible total expenditures start at EUR 50,000 per project, with a maximum duration of 36 months. The grant amounts to up to 80% of eligible costs. Applications must be submitted to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administration Office by April 30 of the previous year. Eligible for funding are recognized as well as non-recognized adult education institutions with several years of experience in literacy and basic education work.
Eligible measures include educational events for basic education, the establishment of regional basic education centers, societal awareness campaigns, the qualification of educational professionals, as well as innovative model projects for teaching and learning experiences. A prerequisite is proof of economic viability and professional competence of the personnel employed. Cooperative projects between different providers are expressly welcomed. The funding is provided by the Ministry of Education of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and coordinated through the State Administration Office. By sustainably strengthening basic education offerings, the program contributes to equal opportunities in adult education and to achieving employment policy objectives.
