Description

With the funding program "Arriving and Staying," the :do Foundation targets non-profit associations and initiatives throughout Germany that support refugees in their transition to an independent life. Projects that enable participation, reduce isolation, and strengthen the sense of belonging are funded – ranging from workshops for psychosocial processing to encounter opportunities organized by migrants for migrants. The goal is to facilitate access to education, care, and community for newly arrived individuals after a long period of separation and to empower them in their self-organization and participation. Empowerment and equal participation are the primary focus.

The standardized application procedure with fixed deadlines is exclusively open to non-profit organizations. A prerequisite for a grant of up to €5,000 is the prior submission of a tax exemption certificate as well as the submission of a short engagement video. Eligible costs include personnel expenses and material costs, supplemented by non-material contributions such as consulting, networking, and professional exchange. Funding can cover both start-up and follow-up financing and may be granted as a one-time or long-term support. Further details on the scope of funding and the application process are available on the :do Foundation’s website.
