Arriving and Staying

The :do Foundation supports nationwide nonprofit projects with the program Arriving and Staying that facilitate the path into the destination country and integration in Germany for refugees and migrants. The focus is on a combination of medical, psychological, and material support as well as legal advice and cultural and social activities. The goal is to enable protection, dignity, and social participation by empowering local organizations to build and sustainably accompany effective networks on site. Through this comprehensive support, diverse needs are addressed and individual integration processes are promoted to ensure long-term equal footing for staying.

Funded are initiatives based in Germany that demonstrably assist refugees on their way to the destination country and in settling in. Grant funding is exclusively available to nonprofit organizations and can be applied for continuously, allowing projects to be started and further developed flexibly. Applicants should present a concept for medical, psychological, or material assistance, legal support, or cultural offerings with which they achieve sustainable impact. Through the ongoing funding focus on migration, social issues, culture, as well as media & work, the :do Foundation strengthens social cohesion and equal participation of all people in Germany.
