Description
AusbildungsFit offers a low-threshold, barrier-free program in Vienna for young people with disabilities or assistance needs who are not yet ready for vocational training. In individually designed learning modules, personal, social, and professional skills are developed to enable entry into vocational training or the primary labor market. Through a graduated approach – from the preliminary module through AusbildungsFit to AusbildungsFit Plus – participants gradually gain more self-confidence and career orientation. The program combines theoretical impulses with practical production projects to simulate real work situations and thus gain practical experience. Young people are closely supported and promoted by experts from education, social work, and career guidance.
Non-profit organizations have continuous funding opportunities in the form of grants with a funding rate of 100%. Personnel costs, material costs, as well as costs for counseling and support are eligible for funding. Application requirements include proof of successful activity in employment preparation and support for young people with disabilities or assistance needs. Application documents include a detailed project description, evidence of previous work, and a cost and financing plan. The application deadline is ongoing, allowing flexible project planning. The selection criteria – needs-based approach, accessibility, and experience – ensure sustainable and targeted use of funds. AusbildungsFit thus creates a comprehensive, inclusive infrastructure to integrate disadvantaged young people into training and the labor market.
