Description
Since 2001, the Baden-Württemberg SCHOLARSHIP has supported the international networking of students and young professionals by enabling them to gain experience abroad and thereby expand their intercultural competencies. Initiated by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, a significant operational foundation in Germany, the scholarship contributes to promoting exchange between people from Baden-Württemberg and international scholarship holders. With a clear focus on education, work & social affairs, as well as initial and continuing education, the funding program offers diverse opportunities to strengthen professional and personal development. Great importance is placed on acquiring language skills and establishing global networks – a decisive advantage in an increasingly interconnected world.
Within the framework of the program, various funding lines are available, specifically targeting students and young professionals. Young people from Baden-Württemberg are given the opportunity to represent their home region abroad, while international scholarship holders are invited to get to know the region. The different program lines – including the Baden-Württemberg SCHOLARSHIP for students, the one for professionals, the student program “BWS plus,” as well as the Walter Hallstein Program – enable flexible and needs-oriented support. This diversity fosters intercultural exchange and facilitates the transfer of knowledge and experiences between cultures. Through these perspectives, not only individual careers are promoted, but social cohesion is also strengthened.
The ongoing support makes the Baden-Württemberg SCHOLARSHIP an attractive option for all those interested in an international career and seeking new impulses abroad. The program is aimed at individuals who wish to actively engage in international exchange. The sustainable investment in education and personal development reflects the foundation’s commitment to promoting a vibrant civil society and shaping the cultural and economic transformation in Baden-Württemberg. Interested persons can find detailed information on the foundation’s official website and thus take the first step into a Europe-wide, connected future.
