The funding guideline Construction and Modernization of Intercompany Vocational Training Centers (ÜBS) of the state of Baden-Württemberg is aimed at legal entities under public law, non-profit organizations, and self-help institutions of the economy. It supports investments in intercompany vocational training centers in the areas of initial and continuing education, infrastructure, as well as urban development and urban renewal. Funding is provided, among other things, for initial equipment, modernization of technical equipment, land acquisition, construction and acquisition of buildings, expansion measures, as well as structural maintenance and remodeling. The grant is provided in the form of a subsidy with a funding rate of up to 25% of eligible expenses. Applications must be submitted before the start of the measure; there are no fixed deadlines. Prerequisites include a professional justification, alignment with local needs, secured overall financing, sufficient utilization, and provision of the necessary teaching staff. Maintenance and repair work, consumables, and teaching materials are not eligible for funding.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg manages this program with the goal of establishing a demand-oriented network of intercompany vocational training centers and strengthening professional focal points.
