Description
The program Contributions to Senior Organizations in the Salzburg State Senior Advisory Board supports non-profit providers in the state of Salzburg in actively involving seniors in cultural activities and offering them qualified counseling. Recognized senior organizations represented in the State Senior Advisory Board can apply for a grant at any time. The funding aims to further establish existing offerings in the fields of culture, social affairs, culture & media, as well as work & social affairs, and to facilitate seniors' participation in social life. Since the launch of the open-ended call on October 1, 2020, funds have been available to design and further develop creative projects, interactive formats, and counseling services.
Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit organizations, interest groups, or other associations recognized according to the "Statute and Funding of Senior Organizations of the Advisory Board." Applications are submitted via a general funding request, supplemented by the statute of the recognized senior organization. Upon positive approval, the requested funds can be flexibly used for events, publications, training, or counseling services. Recipients benefit from continuously accessible grants without an annual lock-up period, enabling long-term planning and sustainable projects for the well-being of older people in the state of Salzburg.
