Description
The consulting support in the field of resource efficiency assists small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Baden-Württemberg in identifying and implementing measures that contribute to increasing material and energy efficiency. The program provides for the utilization of external, certified consulting services, reimbursing 50% of the eligible person-days – up to a maximum grant of €5,500 per consultation. The focus is on determining company-specific savings potentials, optimizing the use of existing resources, and sustainably reducing CO₂ emissions. A prerequisite for funding is, among other things, an individual information meeting (KEFF+Check) with the responsible regional competence center to ensure a well-founded consultation.
Within the framework of the program, consulting services are supported that cover various aspects of resource efficiency. These include technical, organizational, economic, and strategic issues, which are particularly relevant in the manufacturing sector. Experts accredited by Umwelttechnik BW and listed in the corresponding database play a key role in strengthening the competitiveness of companies. The funding aims not only to identify savings potentials but also to initiate concrete measures for implementing efficiency improvements. Special emphasis is placed on innovative consulting approaches and the consideration of sustainability aspects.
The application deadline for this consulting support measure runs until 30.11.2026, and the funding period is limited to six months. The funds used originate from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as well as state funds, ensuring long-term support for regional companies. Through this funding component, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Economy Baden-Württemberg makes a sustainable contribution to the ecological transformation of the regional economy. The program is thus aimed at all SMEs that wish to make their production processes more efficient and actively participate in addressing current ecological challenges.
