Description
The funding program Educational Coaches is aimed at public law institutions (excluding the state of Hesse and the federal government) as well as private educational providers operating in Hesse. At its core, the measure supports Hessian companies – especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – and their employees in vocational further training. Educational coaches systematically record existing competencies, advise on suitable training and further education offers as well as funding instruments, and accompany qualification projects until their successful completion. The goal is to sustainably raise awareness of the benefits of further training measures, promote willingness for in-company training, and increase individual career opportunities. Funding is provided in the form of a non-repayable grant and covers advisory and accompanying services related to training and further education.
Interested educational institutions can submit their application electronically via the ESF-Hessen Customer Portal in the anticipated last quarter of 2024; the approval period begins on 01.07.2025. A detailed funding guideline provides preliminary information on the content, scope, and formal requirements of the application process. The program not only strengthens the qualification strategy of small companies but also promotes the sustainable integration of further training into everyday business operations. Potential applicants will find all necessary information for submission and implementation compactly summarized in the Educational Coaches information sheet. A timely project start from summer 2025 enables early planning and implementation of concrete further training projects under expert guidance. Further details on the process flow and application review are available in the ESF portal to comprehensively support the path to successful funding.
