Funding objective
The education voucher supports apprentices and graduates up to 25 years of age as well as employed persons in the state of Styria who wish to complete their apprenticeship qualification alongside their job. Funding is provided for job-related advanced qualifications, personality-related qualifications, and the acquisition of key qualifications by covering part or all of the course costs.

The Education Voucher is aimed at apprentices and apprenticeship graduates up to 25 years of age, as well as individuals who wish to complete their apprenticeship final examination alongside their employment. In Styria, this continuously available funding allows for the coverage of up to 50% of course costs for job-related advanced qualifications, personal development training, and the acquisition of key qualifications in the areas of languages and IT. Examination and tuition fees, as well as hobby and leisure courses, are excluded. Preparation courses for the extraordinary apprenticeship final examination are covered 100% from the age of 18 onwards. The maximum funding amount is €500 per apprenticeship completion, with a minimum course cost of €200 per course, and cost coverage by companies or third parties is excluded.
A prerequisite for application is a primary residence in Styria for at least one year. For apprentices and apprenticeship graduates, the age limit is extended by two years per dependent child; periods of military or civilian service are also credited. Applications can be submitted indefinitely based on a completed application form and an information sheet. Through clear funding rates between 50% and 100% and a transparent maximum limit of €500 per apprenticeship, personal development goals are effectively supported.
