Description

The CAPE project of the CAPE Foundation in Berlin offers women with a first diagnosis of breast cancer or DCIS a low-threshold therapeutic space for experience and protection. In this free service, those affected receive holistic psycho-oncological support immediately after diagnosis, addressing fears and existential crises while sustainably strengthening self-confidence. Through workshops such as yoga, breathing and tapping therapy, meditation, and empowerment groups, virtual and in-person exchange spaces are created where participants can connect in a trusting atmosphere. The flexibly designed formats – ranging from yoga and mindfulness sessions to discussion rounds and lectures on breast reconstruction – are aimed at women without severe psychiatric preconditions and fill gaps in psychotherapeutic care.

Funding through pure sponsorship ensures 100 percent cost coverage for all offerings. Registration by email to info@cape-stiftung.de is possible at any time. With this continuous program, the CAPE Foundation is committed not only to immediate psycho-oncological support but also aims to change societal understanding of breast cancer in the long term: the disease should not be pathologized but regarded as an opportunity for personal reorientation and holistic healing. Interested private individuals thus find a supportive network that focuses on social integration, self-care, and resilience.
