Description
Coaching services in the pre-startup phase offer unemployed founders residing in Berlin systematic support on the path to self-employment. The coaching initiative is divided into three consecutive phases: First, an orientation interview takes place to clarify the individual starting point. This is followed by a four-day assessment during which the strengths, resources, and business ideas of the participants are evaluated. After a successful recommendation, tailored coaching of up to 30 hours is granted. During this period, prospective entrepreneurs develop a well-founded business plan, optimize their market entry strategy, and deepen key topics such as product development, pricing, target group definition, or entrepreneurial personality development.
Funded as a grant measure by the Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity, and Anti-Discrimination, the offer is aimed at natural persons who are registered as unemployed and whose startup project has not yet been registered with any authority. A formal business license must not exist prior to application. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing for flexible planning. This funding reduces startup risks by strengthening important business management and personality-oriented skills at an early stage. The continuous provision of coaching services ensures that potential founders can always rely on experienced experts and are thus well prepared for establishing a full-time or part-time self-employment.
