Description
Demonstration and Pilot Plants supports companies, interest groups, associations, and non-profit organizations nationwide in innovative environmental protection measures. Projects are funded in accordance with § 4 of the Investment Promotion Guideline 2022, which are not assigned to any other funding area. This particularly includes measures to avoid or reduce noise emissions, the reduction of climate-relevant gases, as well as pilot and demonstration plants for testing new or improved technologies. Eligible applicants are all commercially active organizations, denominational institutions, and associations that achieve a verifiable environmental effect through investments in plants, planning, and installation. Submissions are accepted indefinitely from 01.03.2024 online via the KPC platform. Eligible costs include the pure investment costs of the environmental protection plants as well as accompanying planning and installation costs. For investment volumes from €500,000, a report from the credit institution is additionally required.
Complete documentation must be submitted for the application, including a technical description, information on the project objective and degree of novelty, an economic feasibility calculation, as well as corresponding offers and cost estimates. The application must be submitted before the first legally binding order, delivery, or start of construction. After review by the service team of Kommunalkredit Public Consulting GmbH, applicants will receive a funding proposal and, upon positive decision, a legally binding funding contract. Subsequently, final documents including the final accounting form and payment receipts must be submitted via the online platform. The measure must be implemented by the deadline specified in the contract, and the final accounting must be submitted no later than six months thereafter. Detailed information and form templates are available in the information sheet.
