Description

Deutschlandstipendium at the Technical University of Hamburg supports high-achieving and committed students in Hamburg with an income-independent scholarship of €300 per month. The program is aimed at all enrolled individuals at TU Hamburg–Harburg who demonstrate above-average academic performance as well as social engagement. The funding is granted for a minimum of two semesters, but no longer than the standard period of study, and supports concentration on research- and teaching-related activities through financial relief. The goal of the Deutschlandstipendium is to specifically strengthen talents at the university to ensure academic success and to provide innovative impulses for science and business.

Criteria for awarding include academic excellence, social commitment, and willingness to take responsibility. Prerequisites for application, in addition to enrollment at TU Hamburg, are proof of outstanding grades or comparable achievements as well as evidence of voluntary involvement and assumption of responsibility in studies or voluntary projects. The funding period generally covers 12 months with the possibility of extension, provided that the fulfillment of requirements can continue to be demonstrated. As a prize or award, the scholarship honors outstanding individuals and enables them to focus on their education and training. Further information is provided by the Foundation for the Promotion of the Technical University of Hamburg, which has been building bridges between university, business, and society since 1996 and manages the Deutschlandstipendium transparently and on a non-profit basis.
