Description

The circle of donors of the Klavier-Festival Ruhr Foundation promotes civic engagement in North Rhine-Westphalia and enables the world’s largest piano festival in the Ruhr metropolitan area. In the funding areas of culture, music, children and youth, as well as education for sustainable development, private individuals, companies, foundations, and non-profit organizations can become part of a unique network. With an annual membership starting at €1,000 (Bronze), supporters not only contribute to the realization of high-caliber piano concerts by pianists such as Igor Levit or Grigory Sokolov, but also support low-threshold cultural education programs in neighborhoods with increased need for attention. Membership can be applied for at any time and is automatically renewed annually, cancellable with a three-month notice period before the end of the year.

Supporters enjoy numerous benefits: these include pre-sale rights for sought-after concert tickets, invitations to program presentations in January, as well as exclusive encounters during musical soirées. Higher membership levels (Silver, Gold) offer additional services such as privileged reception and travel offers. To apply, only the donor circle registration form and either a direct debit mandate or proof of transfer need to be submitted. Support through the donor circle not only strengthens artistic excellence in the Ruhr area but also makes a sustainable contribution to the cultural participation of children and youth – making the Klavier-Festival Ruhr a cultural beacon in Germany’s largest metropolitan region.
