Description
The one-time grants for residential building renovation in Tyrol support owners and tenants in energy-efficient, technical-structural, and barrier-free modernizations of residential buildings and apartments. Funded measures include, among others, improvements in energy efficiency such as insulation of roofs, facades, and ceilings, window replacement, as well as the installation of solar systems, photovoltaics, or heat pumps. Additionally, residential space expansions, floor plan modifications, and age-appropriate and disability-friendly conversions are financially supported. A prerequisite for a positive funding decision is the year-round primary residence in the renovated property, compliance with efficiency and quality standards according to the Residential Building Renovation Guideline, and timely submission of the funding application no later than 18 months after completion of the measure.
Applicants submit Form A5 – Residential Building Renovation together with the Declaration of Commitment (F10), Creditworthiness Confirmation (F11), and the final settlement (F28b). No fee is charged; payment is made after positive approval and verification of invoices, payment receipts, and acceptance confirmations by executing specialist companies. In addition to on-site inspections, the State of Tyrol ensures that emission limits, U-values, and efficiency criteria are met. Applications have been accepted continuously since August 2013. Through this funding initiative, the federal state actively contributes to reducing energy consumption, increasing building comfort, and promoting climate protection in the Tyrol region.
