Description

ELER 2023-2027: Social Services – Burgenland and Vienna offers public institutions and non-profit organizations in rural areas grants covering 65% of eligible investment costs up to a maximum of 5 million euros. Targeted calls via the digital funding platform eAMA enable the application for decentralized facilities; both tangible and intangible investments as well as planning and consulting costs are eligible for funding. Personnel costs and non-cash own contributions are excluded. The funding period extends from September 1, 2023, to December 31, 2027, with project start possible from September 1, 2023. Funding applications must be submitted at the deadlines announced on eAMA, which are distributed evenly in call procedures throughout the entire duration.

The focus is on early childhood education and care facilities for children under six years, care centers, psychosocial and psychiatric services for children and adolescents, as well as residential buildings for people in special hardship situations. Mobile services are also supported to improve the compatibility of family, work, and private life. The target groups are users of social services in rural areas – especially children (0–6 years), people in need of care, elderly persons, families, refugees, and people in precarious life situations. Funding prerequisites include implementation in rural areas, compliance with the nearly zero-energy building standard for new construction or expansion, as well as submission of a project description, a financing plan, cost estimates, and a building inspection approval certificate. Further details on selection criteria, procedures, and measure-specific guidelines are documented in the corresponding information sheets and special guidelines.
