Description

ELER 2023–2027: Social Services – Salzburg

The funding initiative within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 targets public institutions and non-profit organizations in rural regions of the state of Salzburg. The focus is on investments in early childhood education and care facilities (0–6 years), care and day centers for the elderly, as well as psychosocial, social psychiatric, and psychiatric services – including for people in special distress. The aim is to create decentralized, flexible, and quality-oriented structures for social services that better reconcile work and family life. Funding is provided in the form of a grant covering up to 65% of eligible project costs. Applications can be submitted from October 1, 2023, to December 31, 2027, via the digital funding platform of Agrarmarkt Austria.

Eligible are tangible and intangible investments as well as planning and consulting costs; however, personnel costs and non-cash contributions are not eligible. Key criteria include location in a rural area, compliance with the “Nearly Zero-Energy Building” standard and OIB Guideline 6 for new constructions, as well as a cost cap of a maximum of EUR 5 million. In the selection process, experts evaluate regional demand coverage, degree of innovation and quality of the facility, sustainability and energy efficiency, as well as the contribution to social services and family-friendliness. Mobility services such as pick-up and drop-off services are also eligible measures. Required submission documents include a detailed project description, a cost and financing plan, proof of compliance with energy standards, and building acceptance confirmation.
