Description
The Baydur Foundation "Future Music" supports daycare centers in the Stuttgart area of Baden-Württemberg with 100% grant funding for EMP courses (Elementary Music Pedagogy) and accompanying training sessions. Providers and public educational institutions may submit applications at any time, provided there is a cooperation agreement with the Baydur Foundation. Funding covers fees for qualified EMP instructors, material costs for instruments and craft supplies, as well as room and organizational expenses. The goal is to strengthen the communicative, creative, motor, and linguistic skills of preschool children through playful music and movement activities, while simultaneously qualifying educational professionals in elementary music pedagogy. Imaginative fantasy stories, musical experimentation with everyday objects, and community-building rituals play a central role in this process.
Selection is based on the needs and demand of the institution as well as the qualifications of the EMP instructors. In addition to regular course series in up to six daycare centers per year, the foundation offers multi-day training seminars for educators to enable sustainable music learning in everyday daycare settings. Integration into the official training program of the Stuttgart Youth Welfare Office has further expanded the reach of these offerings. With this comprehensive funding program, the Baydur Foundation makes a decisive contribution to early childhood development and creates long-term impulses for a creative and self-confident generation of children and educational professionals. Interested institutions in the Stuttgart area can continuously submit their course plans and cooperation agreements with the foundation.
