Energy Strategy - Other Funding Programs

The Energy Strategy – Other Funding of the State of Tyrol supports companies, municipalities, municipal associations, as well as public institutions in the implementation of comprehensive energy-strategic measures. Funding is provided particularly for awareness-raising activities – including workshops and specialized events – as well as for the development and implementation of energy efficiency and energy concepts for businesses and communities. Furthermore, exemplary organizational structures in the field of green energy and energy efficiency can be supported to establish lighthouse projects with exemplary character. Another focus lies on structural measures to improve the market situation of photovoltaic energy in order to sustainably advance the expansion of renewable energies.

The program is designed as a grant and is continuously available, allowing applications to be submitted at any time. A prerequisite for a positive funding decision is a special contribution from an energy-strategic perspective, which must be demonstrated in a detailed project description. The grant aims to realize the energy goals of the State of Tyrol by enabling applicants to develop and implement forward-looking concepts. Project-related applications are submitted informally, accompanied by a comprehensive description of the project. Through this funding, regional actors can effectively plan and successfully implement their measures to increase energy efficiency and expand renewable energies.
