Description
ERP/Future Fund Growth Facility represents a targeted investment initiative whereby KfW Capital, on behalf of the ERP Special Fund and the Federal Future Fund, invests in European venture capital and venture debt funds. With a subscription volume of up to EUR 50 million per fund entry, the venture capital offering for technology-oriented start-ups and young growth companies is sustainably strengthened. Through pari-passu investments alongside private investors, the funding measure helps to close the financing gap in the start-up and growth phase and to firmly establish Germany as an innovation hub in the long term.
Eligible for funding are funds based in Germany or Europe with a minimum volume of EUR 50 million, whose independent management has a proven track record. Both established venture capital and first-time funds as well as social venture and venture debt funds are eligible, provided they predominantly invest in technology-oriented companies in Germany and meet ESG criteria. For application, a current fund deck including management, investment strategy, track record, and engagement in Germany is required. Evaluation is ongoing, so financing requests can be submitted at any time. Interested fund managers receive prompt feedback and benefit from a reliable partnership to scale their investment approach.
