Description
The funding program "ESF Funding Guideline Vocational Education – Model Projects and Regional Cooperation" supports the development of innovative projects in vocational training and further education in the federal state of Hesse. It is aimed at educational institutions as well as public entities active in the field of vocational education. Using grants covering up to 80-90% of eligible expenses, primarily model projects and cooperations to optimize the transition from school to work in the so-called OloV regions are funded. The focus is on measures that test and establish innovative approaches to adapting vocational education to the changing world of work and aim to permanently strengthen regional collaboration.
The funding covers both personnel costs and necessary material expenses and can reach amounts of up to €24,000 annually. The expansion and quality improvement of training structures are supported financially in areas such as project management, specialist planning, and implementation of concepts. The responsible actors are given the opportunity to realize creative and forward-looking projects through the provision of grants. It is necessary to present, within a comprehensive concept, details on work steps, personnel and task planning, as well as a clear timeline and financing plan. The measure aims to create supra-regional model projects that serve as catalysts for sustainable changes in vocational education.
Applications are submitted in writing to the Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen (WIBank) following the publication of the funding call. This requires that applying legal entities under public law as well as legal entities under private law provide proof of qualifications and compliance with applicable activity requirements. The transparent application procedure and detailed project conception ensure that the submitted proposals correspond to the objective of intensifying cooperation between regional actors and paving innovative educational pathways. Thus, the program not only contributes to improving training quality but also promotes inclusive access to high-quality and future-oriented vocational education in Hesse.
