Support Association Foundation Institute for Maritime Economics and Logistics (ISL) e.V.

Since 1982, the Support Association of the Institute for Shipping Economics and Logistics Foundation has been committed to strengthening scientific research and preliminary studies in maritime logistics. Companies from the shipping industry, logistics sector, and interested private individuals specifically support educational promotion and knowledge transfer at ISL through membership. The contributions finance selected projects, implement training initiatives, and make research results accessible to a broad professional audience. Membership is open throughout Germany and enables both idealistic and material support to sustainably enhance the institute's innovative capacity.

As part of the Support Association, participants benefit from regular insights into current research activities and can actively shape project topics. This includes invitations to specialist events and excursions in the field of shipping economics, participation in Support Association projects, as well as visible presence on the ISL website. Application requires acceptance of the statutes and submission of a membership application, which can be made at any time. This opens a platform for exchange between science and practice, contributing to the long-term development of maritime logistics and strengthening the institute as a leading institution.
