Description
The funding is aimed at non-profit associations as well as public law entities in Lower Austria that are dedicated to contemporary architecture. The objective is the financial support of exhibitions, symposia, lectures, excursions, event series, and publications. The funds are granted as a direct subsidy within the framework of a private law agreement. The funding period extends from the application submission until the available volume of 0.02 million euros is exhausted. Applications can be submitted continuously as soon as funds are available. The funding is cross-sectorally anchored in the fields of culture, construction and monument preservation, media, as well as infrastructure and urban development, and contributes to the vibrant presentation and discussion of current architectural developments.
Projects that address a broad audience in Lower Austria and promote professional exchange are supported. Beneficiaries must submit consolidated invoices as proof of performance upon completion of the measure. For the application, funding requests as well as an annual program or detailed programs of the planned events must be submitted. Selection is based on the submitted concepts and the expected impact on the regional building culture. This initiative strengthens a network of professionals, interested parties, and decision-makers that helps to make architecture locally visible and accessible. Innovative projects thus receive a solid foundation for the implementation of pioneering formats that sustainably enrich the cultural and urban development profile of Lower Austria.
