Promotion of General Adult Education

The state of Vorarlberg supports non-profit institutions of general adult education throughout Vorarlberg with grants of up to 33% of the directly incurred costs. The focus is on projects, publications, events, as well as course and annual programs that ensure a varied, high-quality, and comprehensive offering. Funding applications can be submitted at any time before the start of a planned measure. The support aims to enable unrestricted participation in lifelong learning for all people and to particularly facilitate access for adults with limited educational opportunities. The funding offer is oriented towards regional needs and relies on sustainable quality assurance and management measures.

Interested institutions such as adult education centers, educational centers, and educational organizations can benefit from this funding, provided they pursue non-profit purposes and communicate their offerings publicly, systematically, and regularly. Anti-discrimination and equal opportunities are essential prerequisites. Selection is based on clearly defined evaluation criteria: contribution to the diversity and quality of the educational offer, accessibility for different target groups, and regional added value for Vorarlberg. A prerequisite is the submission of a fully completed application form describing the concept, financing plan, and supporting documents. Payment is made after submission of all accounting documents. This program creates space for innovation and inclusion in adult education and significantly contributes to strengthening lifelong learning in Vorarlberg.
