Description
The Bürger-Stiftung Ostholstein supports non-profit organizations, public-law institutions, foundations, and associations in the Ostholstein district of Schleswig-Holstein in implementing innovative projects in the fields of youth welfare, education and upbringing, sports, environmental and nature conservation, arts and culture, as well as building and monument preservation. Applications can be submitted by email throughout the year, provided the project has not already started, been completed, or is scheduled to begin within four weeks after the application date. Both one-off measures and long-term projects that create lasting added value for the region are eligible for funding. Pure funding of personnel costs or retroactive measures are excluded. The foundation places particular emphasis on broad impact and responsible use of funds.
For the application, a detailed project description, a cost and timeline plan, as well as information on other funders are required. Supplementary information such as references or websites, a copy of the current tax exemption certificate, the valid statutes (if available), and bank details complete the documentation. Applications from individuals or for mandatory public services will not be considered. Following a positive decision, a formal grant confirmation must be submitted within eight weeks. Additionally, the provision of image and text material for public relations is requested. This ensures that the Bürger-Stiftung Ostholstein transparently documents and effectively communicates each funding to sustainably strengthen local engagement.
