Support for the Burgrieden Citizens' Foundation

The Bürgerstiftung Burgrieden supports local projects as a non-profit organization that strengthen social cohesion and cultural diversity in Burgrieden as well as the districts of Bühl and Rot. In accordance with its statutes, it promotes initiatives in the areas of education and upbringing, youth and elderly care, culture, art and monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, landscape management, traditional customs and local heritage, as well as sports and health. Activities that provide sustainable impulses for children, youth, and all generations and contribute positively to public life in the entire municipality are especially welcome. In exceptional cases, projects outside the municipal boundaries may also be funded.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and private individuals who can demonstrate a project location in Burgrieden, Bühl, or Rot and submit a completed funding application. Decisions on the awarding of grants are made twice a year. Submissions are accepted continuously; there are no deadlines, as the foundation collects and evaluates applications in fixed committees. A prerequisite for recognition by the foundation, in addition to a properly completed application, is the non-profit orientation of the project. Interested applicants use the foundation’s standardized application form, which consolidates the substantive and financial key data. In this way, the Bürgerstiftung Burgrieden pools civic engagement and offers a reliable platform for supporting forward-looking, community-oriented initiatives locally.
