Support for the Bürgerstiftung Staßfurt/Förderstedt (financial grant)

The Bürgerstiftung Staßfurt/Förderstedt has been supporting local initiatives in Saxony-Anhalt with financial grants since September 2012. The focus is on projects in the fields of art and culture, sports, child and youth welfare, as well as senior and elderly care. Funding is provided for initiatives in the village of Förderstedt and the districts of Atzendorf, Brumby, Glöthe/Üllnitz, and Löbnitz. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations, as well as private individuals who contribute to social cohesion with their initiatives. The foundation finances its funds from the proceeds of regional wind turbines and distributes them unbureaucratically to committed local actors.

Informal applications can be submitted at any time; there is no application deadline. A brief project description outlining the objectives and target group is sufficient as proof. The decision on the award is made promptly by the foundation’s board of trustees. The goal is to sustainably support creative and social initiatives that enrich cultural, sporting, and intergenerational life in Förderstedt and its districts.
