Funding of the West Lake Constance Community Foundation (Project Funding/Donations)

The project funding of the Bürgerstiftung Westlicher Bodensee aims to strengthen civic engagement and social cohesion in the Western Lake Constance region. Non-profit organizations, private individuals, and public institutions can apply for financial support in the form of a one-time grant or regular funding contributions starting from 25 EUR per month. Additionally, there is the possibility to permanently increase the foundation’s capital through an endowment starting at 25,000 EUR. Projects are supported in the thematic areas of engagement for social cohesion and democracy, regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development. The allocation is carried out in an unbureaucratic and continuous manner, allowing applications to be submitted at any time.

Interested initiatives, associations, and individuals who wish to improve the quality of life in Baden-Württemberg with their projects simply fill out the inquiry form and briefly present their project. The Bürgerstiftung promptly decides on each funding approval and issues a donation receipt for tax purposes. Through its broad focus on projects oriented towards the common good, the foundation contributes to the sustainable development of rural areas and the strengthening of civil society. Submissions are possible at any time, ensuring flexible planning and implementation of engagement projects.
