Funding of the HRK Foundation

The HRK Foundation supports non-profit organizations, associations, foundations, and educational institutions throughout Germany with grants for sustainable social development. The focus is on innovative projects in the profile areas of youth and elderly care, arts and culture, as well as science and research. The funding aims to intensify intergenerational dialogue, strengthen equal opportunities, and improve quality of life in the long term. The continuous submission option for applications allows project leaders to respond flexibly to current needs and submit forward-looking concepts.

A prerequisite for funding is non-profit status as well as engagement in one of the four defined thematic areas. Through financial support, initiatives for the development of social and professional skills of young people can be realized, age-appropriate meeting places designed, or cultural education programs established. Research projects that develop solutions for pressing social challenges—from environmental and health issues to technological innovations—are also welcome. This funding opportunity enables project sponsors to set sustainable impulses and shape a livable future for all generations.
