Description

The funding for integrated rural development (ILE-RL) of the state of Brandenburg supports municipalities, non-profit organizations, businesses, and private individuals in projects aimed at strengthening rural areas as living, working, recreational, and natural spaces. Measures funded include village development, infrastructure improvements outside settlement areas, local basic services, as well as micro-enterprises providing essential services and reorganization procedures according to FlurbG/LwAnpG. Requirements include, among others, location in a rural area, a positive statement from the respective LEADER region, proof of overall financing, and a viable utilization concept for construction projects. Funded are construction and infrastructure measures, plantings, IT solutions, and general expenses up to 20% of construction costs. The grant amount ranges from 45% to 90% of eligible expenses depending on the funding focus. For municipal projects and non-profit entities, the funding rate can be up to 90% in financially weak municipalities, up to 55% for micro-enterprises, and up to 75% or 90% of execution costs for reorganization procedures.
