Support for the Anniversary Foundation of the Savings Bank of the City of Straelen

The Anniversary Foundation of the Sparkasse of the City of Straelen was established to support charitable, ecclesiastical, and non-profit projects within the regional business area. With a clear objective to provide funds for the promotion of science, research, education, art, culture, as well as nature conservation and environmental protection, the foundation stands as a reliable partner for organizations that strengthen social cohesion and social concerns. Only non-profit organizations headquartered within the Sparkasse Straelen’s business area are eligible for funding. Exciting concepts and initiatives are supported in the fields of education, science and research, art and culture, as well as monument protection, social engagement, or disaster relief. Additionally, there is a further focus on measures in the areas of sports, youth, and environment that strengthen social cohesion. The foundation awards grants specifically aimed at the sustainable support of persons and projects in need. The application process is conducted via a prescribed application form and is directed at project sponsors who can demonstrate a strong regional connection and alignment with charitable, ecclesiastical, and non-profit purposes.

The initiative also places particular importance on a transparent and targeted selection process. Funding applications must be submitted within set deadlines – by April 30 and September 30 each year. This structured approach enables projects to be supported promptly and efficiently. Through targeted funding, not only are existing potentials activated, but impulses are also set for the further development of infrastructures, schools, sports facilities, and cultural institutions in the region.
